Fans of New Zealand’s leading domestic cup competitions can start planning their weekend of August 25-26 with all the details for the semi-finals of both the ISPS Handa Chatham Cup and Football Foundation Kate Sheppard Cup now locked in.
One semi-final will be played on each day in both competitions with Wellington United meeting Dunedin Technical in the Kate Sheppard Cup on Saturday before Glenfield Rovers face neighbours Forrest Hill Milford United on Sunday.
In the Chatham Cup, Cashmere Technical play host to Western Suburbs on Saturday before Nelson Suburbs welcome Birkenhead United on Sunday. It is the first time since 2008 that two South Island teams have made the semi-finals of the competition.
The finals of both the ISPS Handa Chatham Cup and Football Foundation Kate Sheppard Cup will take place on September 9.
