Men’s Ford Futsal Superleague
Palmerston North Marist claimed their first national title at the Final Series held at Ākau Tangi Sports Centre in Wellington. Led by Adam Cowan and Khalid Razouk, the side arrived as the second seed and edged Capital Futsal 2–1 in the semi-final, with both goals scored by standout Gavin Hoy — who also featured for Wellington Olympic earlier that day in the Dettol National League.
In the final, Palmerston North Marist overcame defending champions Waikato Rapids with a commanding 6–2 victory. Isa Prins netted a hat-trick, while Gavin Hoy, Nicholas Carrick, and an own goal by Ryan Jones completed the scoring.
There was more silverware for Palmerston North Marist: Liam Outtrim won the Golden Glove, while Gavin Hoy secured both the Golden Boot and MVP awards.
Women’s Ford Futsal Superleague
The Women’s Final Series took place at Bruce Pulman Arena in Auckland, where Papakura City x NRF lifted the trophy after a thrilling campaign.
Capital Futsal, unbeaten throughout the regular season and favourites to defend their title, were upset 1–0 by Waikato Rapids in the semi-finals thanks to a late winner from Jamie Evans.
Papakura City x NRF faced Canterbury United Pride in the other semi-final. After trailing 2–0, goals from Penny Brill and Amy Waters forced extra time, where Waters scored again to seal a dramatic 3–2 comeback win.
In the final, Papakura City x NRF again came from behind, showing great spirit to defeat Waikato Rapids 2–1 and reclaim the national title they won in 2023.
Britney-Lee Nicholson (Canterbury United Pride) finished as Golden Boot winner with 20 goals, Ashley Vincent (Papakura City x NRF) claimed the Golden Glove, and Jamie Evans (Waikato Rapids) was named MVP.
