FOOTBALL IN SCHOOLS

Football in Schools offers our children new opportunities to get active through football. At the same time, it presents volunteer parents and teachers with the tools to create and deliver simple programmes that will encourage their children to become more active in the school setting.

Each of the following programmes are founded on providing children with a fun experience, using football-based challenges and the joy of playing football as motivation for participation.

  • Let's Play Cards - Informal playing of Football games that are led by the children themselves
  • Football Literacy - Games based teaching that develop fundamental movements and football skills during PE time
  • Football Festivals - Larger scale Footbal events with lots of matches and lots of fun
  • Learning Through Football - Teachers providing fun class room learning activities, based around football, for a class of children
