Games between Eastern Suburbs and Waitakere United were fairly close last season, as theu drew 1-1 at Madills Farm, and then Waitakere United won 1-0 at Seddon Fields.

“It's obviously a local derby, so we're just looking forward to build on the last two positive results we've had and the hard work we've done in training, and hopefully take three points this weekend. 

“I think they're very, very organized and  I have a lot of respect for them and how physically they play, they always make it a really tough game. They've got good coaching staff and they have some really good individuals going forward as well, so I think they, I think they have a few threats and it's going to be an interesting game - one for sure that we've got to be at our best in."
