When? Sunday 6 December, 2020, 1.30 kick off

Where? Bluewater Stadium, Tamatea

What happened last time?

Canterbury Dragons and Hawke's Bay United played twice last season with a 2 all draw down South and 2-1 win to Hawkes Bay United at Bluewater Stadium.

They say

Chris Greatholder, Hawke’s Bay United head coach

“Looking forward to being back at Bluewater for a home game. We’ve had a couple of tough away trips obviously, Team Wellington and Auckland, and we've gone and given decent accounts of ourselves to be fair. We played quite well in both games and arguably should have got more points than we have but you know we've got to take our lessons and work as hard as we can to make sure that we are as good as we can be against Canterbury. The standard of the league is really good and three points are so valuable. Canterbury have had a tough start as well, so it's a massive game for both.

“We think we've done lots of good work without the ball and our organization and the setup has been good, it’s been pleasing, and now we've got to find our patterns of play with the ball get the right behaviours at the right times to make sure we're hurting the opposition in the areas that we want to. Should be a good matchup, I’m sure they're looking forward to it too and we will obviously be as determined as we can to put three points on the board!”
