Vacancy | Community Pathway Manager


New Zealand Football is seeking applications for a Community Pathway Manager within our Football Development team. 

This newly-created role leads the development and implementation of the Community Football player pathways and supports the development of Community Football coaching, referee and administrative pathways within NZF’s Whole of Football Plan.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing strategies and programmes which support the delivery of the Football Frameworks in clubs and schools
  • Working with the Federation Development Teams to understand and tailor to the reality and development of clubs and schools in New Zealand

We’re looking for someone who’s preferably tertiary-qualified and holds an OFC / NZF C Licence (or equivalent), and has experience of working with diverse stakeholders including federations, coaches, parents, players and volunteers.

To be successful in this role you’ll need:

  • Experience in community player/coach development at all levels spanning junior, youth and senior football
  • An understanding of the NZF National Curriculum and Whole of Football Plan
  • Knowledge of current trends in player and coach development.
