The destination of the Men’s Futsal SuperLeague trophy is still anyone’s guess with only four points separating the top five teams after the latest bout of action.
The Southern Travel Series took place over the weekend in Wellington and the hosts made good use of home advantage, Capital losing only one of their four matches to top the table.
Southern United managed to post just one win but are only two points behind Capital and the Northern Comets, the latter of whom was not in action over the weekend but holds a joint share of the lead.
The Waikato Rapids and defending champions Auckland are also snapping at the heels of the leading pair, setting up an intriguing set of matches on the weekend of 9-10 November, when all teams will take to the court together for the first time in the opening instalment of the National Series.
