Thompson's backing Small Whites

New Zealand Football is pleased to welcome another member of its ever-growing group of commercial partners with natural healthcare brand Thompson’s the latest to come on board.

Thompson’s provides a wide range of products to supplement a healthy lifestyle and will be aligned to the Small Whites campaign, which supports those involved in junior football throughout the country.

New Zealand Football Commercial Director Carl Jackson is delighted to welcome Thompson’s to the Small Whites fold and believes the relationship is a natural fit.

“Thompson’s is an ideal partner for the Small Whites brand as they are committed to supporting a healthy, active lifestyle,” he says.

“Their Junior Immunofort product in particular is one of their key products and is great for boosting a child’s immune system, assisting in keeping winter ills and chills at bay.” *

Thompson’s was established by respected English herbalist Mark Barrington Thompson, who opened New Zealand’s first health store in 1951.

It is now a leading New Zealand-owned natural healthcare brand and has also enjoyed positive growth in Australia while exporting products around the world.

In New Zealand, Thompson’s products are distributed through both health stores and pharmacies.

“Thompson’s is about inspiring families to be the best they can be by providing them with natural health solutions for life. Partnering with New Zealand’s leading participation team sport is a great way to do this and we are very excited about supporting the Small Whites campaign,” Thompson’s stated.

“Winter can really test your child’s immunity during the football season and we pride ourselves on providing them with the support they need so they can take on the challenge.”

A member association of FIFA, New Zealand Football is the governing body for one of the largest participation team sports in New Zealand, providing experiences and opportunities for all – male and female, young and not so young, talented athletes and community level players.

There are over 150,000 registered football participants at nearly 400 clubs throughout the country, positioning football as a vital code in the New Zealand sporting landscape.

The Small Whites programme rewards the 60,000 children taking part in the game with certificates, posters and vouchers while resources are also provided to coaches.
