Vacancies | Assistant Coaches


New Zealand Football is seeking applications for Assistant Coaches for our National Women’s U-20 and U-17 teams, responsible for the planning, implementation, management and success of the international programme in the lead-up to and during the 2020 World Cup campaign.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with the Head Coach on the high performance programme
  • Assisting in coaching the U-20 or U-17 team
  • Attendance at camps and travel on tour
  • Helping to create a supportive, professional team environment in which all players are able to reach their potential

 

We’re looking for a minimum OFC/NZF B Licence or equivalent, as well as demonstrated experience in coaching a high performing football team, experience in the use of technical analysis software, and an understanding of player development trends and the role that sports science plays in team performance.

To be successful in this role you’ll need:

  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Effective management skills
  • The personal motivation to achieve excellence
