Due to an error identified in the calculation of draw progressions, all Southern Football teams entered in the Delivereasy Kate Sheppard Cup will receive a BYE in Round 1.

The draw that has already been completed will remain unchanged.

The teams drawn to play each other will instead compete in Round 2, scheduled for the King’s Birthday weekend (Friday 30 May – Monday 1 June).

These matches will determine which two teams progress through to Round 3.

New Zealand Football Competitions and Events Manager, Kevin Forde, says impacted teams have been informed.

"We appreciate everyone’s understanding and apologise for any confusion this may have caused."
