OFC/NZF C Licence (Female only)

If you’re an aspiring female coach keen to take your first step on the advanced coaching pathway in 2024, get in quick to register for March’s female-only OFC C Licence course in Auckland.

Having a female-only C Licence course is about “building the base and then having the right support structures in place to help our coaches progress through their coaching journey,” says New Zealand Football women’s development manager Annalie Longo.

“One of New Zealand Football’s strategic priorities is about strengthening capability and leadership across women’s football,” Longo added, “part of this is building club capability and to be able to have girls only talent development environments.”

“Ensuring there are opportunities for female coaches to be appropriately supported in that environment is crucial for building and developing the game,” Longo said, “to enable applicants from as wide a range of backgrounds as possible, New Zealand Football will support travel and accommodation costs as well as reduce the course fee.”

“Our priority is removing as many barriers to entry as possible,” says Longo, “by having a female-only course in what is traditionally a male-dominated space, we’re enabling participants who might not be comfortable in a course that’s mostly male.”

Applicants are invited from school, club and/or federation backgrounds.
