Fulham midfielder Matt Dibley-Dias is set to join the All Whites this October for the first time for the two friendlies against DR Congo and Australia.
The 19-year-old was born in Aotearoa New Zealand, but as his family have Brazilian, Portuguese and English links, having lived in England for years, meaning he is also eligible to play for Brazil, Portugal and England, as well as the All Whites.
Dibley-Dias told fulhamfc.com:
"It’s a great opportunity for me to play against senior level players and it can help give me a platform to perform against first team opponents.”
All Whites head coach Darren Bazeley said:
“Matt is a player we have been tracking for a while and he has made really good progress over the last year, getting closer to the Fulham first team.
“It will be great to bring him into camp for the first time and give him a taste of senior international action, especially ahead of a big year next year with things like the Paris 2024 Olympics.”
