FIFA and OFC have confirmed the format and draw for the FIFA World Cup 2022 qualifying. 

The OFC preliminary competition, to be played in Qatar from 14 to 30 March 2022, will see eight teams compete across two groups of four, followed by semi-finals and final.

The draw for the tournament sees the men’s national team paired with New Caledonia, Fiji and Papua New Guinea. 

With the FIFA international window scheduled from 21 to 30 March 2022, a number of fixtures are set to be played before professional clubs have to release their players.
