FUN-damentals of Junior Coaching
For team leaders working with 4–9 year old players.
Leading a team of young players is an enjoyable and rewarding experience. You can foster a lifelong love of the game while providing a foundation of skill and movement development for the next generation.
Often, team leaders wear many hats — coach, referee, and chief fun officer! This course provides valuable tools for managing both training and game day, helping you get the best out of this exciting age group.
Junior Level 1 Coaching Award
For coaches working with 9–13 year old players.
It provides a great introduction to skill development, focusing on the specific needs of players in this age group.
Coaches will learn how to create fun and inclusive environments, and how to use activities and games to develop players’ skills and confidence. The course offers practical advice for making every session enjoyable and effective for young players.
Junior Level 2 Coaching Award
The next step for coaches working with 9–13 year old players.
It is designed for coaches who want to deepen their knowledge of player development during this important skill phase.
The course covers a range of modules focused on specific coaching knowledge and techniques, culminating in a practical module that brings key learnings together to enhance both the player and coaching experience.
Youth Level 1 Coaching Award
For coaches working with 13 - 19 year old players.
Youth Level 2 Coaching Award
The next step for coaches working with 13-19 year old players.
The course is aimed at coaches who want to develop a deeper understanding of how to meet the needs of their young players during this Team phase.
The course takes the coach through a range of modules targetting specific knowledge and skills and culminates with a practical module that brings much of this knowledge together.
Senior Level 1 Coaching Award
For coaches working with senior players aged 20+.
The course is aimed at coaches who want to develop a deeper understanding of how to meet the needs of their senior players in this phase.
The course takes the coach through a range of modules targetting specific knowledge and skills to develop a great environment for their plyaers and culminates with a practical module that brings much of this knowledge together.
