Congratulations to Auckland City, winners of the Men’s Futsal SuperLeague this weekend in Auckland. 

The Futsal Navy Blues beat defending champions Waikato Rapids 2-0 in the National Series Final at Pulman Arena. 

Goals from Hamish Grey and Skipper Steve Ashby-Peckham sealed the title for Coach Nic Downes' side. 

"I'm lost for words. It’s amazing to win this competition. 

"Today was a really tough day. We had a tough semi-final and final. Both teams we came up against were quality opposition and to get through that is unbelievable, it’s fantastic." Downes said. 

Auckland City’s day was topped off by goalkeeper Mike Antamanov winning both the Golden Glove and overall league MVP award. The Golden Boot award was awarded to Southern United’s Rahan Ali who finished with 10 goals, one ahead of Northern Comets’ Eduardo Exposito.
