All White Matthew Ridenton has joined Brisbane Roar for the remainder of the Hyundai A-League 2019/20 season.

The 24-year-old former Wellington Phoenix midfielder brings a wealth of experience to the team, with over 100 Hyundai A-League appearances. 

“I’m really excited. I’ve had a few sessions with the boys and everyone has been very welcoming. There’s a great culture here and I’m looking forward to contributing where I can,” Ridenton said.

“Brisbane are the form team of 2020 so hopefully we can kick on where the boys left off before the COVID-19 break.

“I believe I can add a bit to the midfield and help what has been a winning team so far this year. There’s plenty of attacking players who have been in great form this season so hopefully I can supply plenty of balls to them and have a strong contribution.”
