Pre-FIFA World Cup 2026 Schedule Confirmed with New Zealand Set to Face Haiti in Florida This June

The All Whites have announced their second pre-FIFA World Cup 2026 match, taking on Haiti (FIFA rank 83) in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The match will be played on 3 June NZT (2 June local time), kicking off at 12pm NZT (8pm local time) at Chase Stadium, the same venue where the team faced Colombia in November 2025.

The clash comes four days before the All Whites take on England (FIFA rank 4) at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, and 13 days before Aotearoa New Zealand kick off their FIFA World Cup 2026 campaign against IR Iran (FIFA rank 21).

The game will be the first time the two sides have played each other at senior international level and comes ahead of Haiti returning to the FIFA World Cup for the first time in over 50 years, where they are set to face Scotland, Brazil, and Morocco.

All Whites head coach Darren Bazeley said:

“Since the draw, we have been working to lock in two games against fellow FIFA World Cup opposition to put us in the best place to perform at the tournament, and the combination of facing Haiti and England, both in Florida, is something we feel does exactly that.

“Haiti are a good side and are ranked at a similar level to us, so we feel that provides a perfect test as we get ready to kick off against Iran in LA.

“Having both games in Florida is hugely beneficial as it means we don’t lose any of our preparation time with travel days, and the players can properly rest and recover between matches.

“It is great to finally confirm the full schedule, and I know that the staff and the players can’t wait to get on the plane and get going.”

Following the two pre-tournament games in Florida, the All Whites will travel to San Diego, their official team base camp for the FIFA World Cup 2026.

The 26 players in the New Zealand squad for the FIFA World Cup 2026 will be named in mid-May.
