New Zealand Brand Delivereasy Becomes Official Naming Partner of Delivereasy Chatham Cup and Delivereasy Kate Sheppard Cup

Delivereasy, New Zealand’s largest home-grown on-demand delivery service, has partnered with New Zealand Football to become the official naming partner of the Delivereasy Chatham Cup and Delivereasy Kate Sheppard Cup, two of Aotearoa’s most prestigious football competitions, with the Chatham Cup first contested in 1923.

The multi-year partnership comes at a time when football is exploding across the country, from grassroots, where the game is the number one team participation sport with over 176,000 players following the impact of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023, to international level, where the All Whites will return to the FIFA World Cup for the first time since 2010 next year.

In addition to being the naming partner of the two domestic cup competitions, Wellington-based Delivereasy will also become an official supporting partner of New Zealand Football community football.

James Wear, GM Commercial, Marketing & Communications at New Zealand Football said:

“It is great to partner with a major Kiwi company in Delivereasy to support the Delivereasy Chatham Cup and Delivereasy Kate Sheppard Cup, two huge and historic competitions in New Zealand football that thousands of players every season battle to get their hands on.

“The game is in a great place right now so it is brilliant to work with an exciting partner in Delivereasy to take it to an even higher level.”

Tim Robinson, CEO at Delivereasy, said:

"At Delivereasy, we're on a mission to leave a better taste in the mouth of our fellow NZers. And our research indicates there are three things that unite big cities and small towns: we all get hungry, we all learnt to play the recorder at school, and we've all played (or still try to play) football.

“It's a game that runs more than skin-deep here at Delivereasy - we're weekly regulars on the social courts in Wellington, and my daughter is heading into her second season of junior football.

“We’re stoked to be on this journey with New Zealand Football and are looking forward to delivering for fans, players and their support crews on and off the field.

“Can't wait to make it one for the highlight reel!”

Round One of the Delivereasy Chatham Cup and Delivereasy Kate Sheppard Cup will be played this weekend with 143 teams taking part in the 2025 edition of the two competitions.

Delivereasy can deliver a whole lot of things on demand, from food to pharmacy items.
