Defender James McGarry has been ruled out of the upcoming All Whites games against DR Congo and Australia this month following an injury suffered while playing for club side Aberdeen. 

McGarry will be replaced in the squad by Kolding IF’s Dalton Wilkins. Wilkins made his All Whites debut in January 2022 against Jordan and has two caps to date.
