How to watch Futsal Whites vs China in September

The Futsal Whites play two games against China in Beijing to begin their road to FIFA Futsal World Cup Qualification at the OFC Futsal Nations Cup in October.

New Zealand vs China | 15 September 2023 | 6:30pm kickoff (10:30pm NZT)

New Zealand vs China | 17 September 2023 | 5:00pm kickoff (9:00pm NZT)

Both games will be played at the National Football Training Centre in Xianghe. Unfortunately, the games will be closed for spectators.

The games will be livestreamed by the Chinese Football Association and will be available to watch in New Zealand via the below link.

Click the link above, or copy and paste it into your web browser to watch both matches. The broadcast will begin roughly 30 minutes before the match. If you have issues accessing the livestream, try the following steps:

  1. Wait until closer to kickoff and try again. Sometimes the broadcast will begin just before the match starts. If you join the link before the broadcast has begun, you will see an error message.

  2. Open the link in a different web browser. (Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox etc).

  3. Open the link on a different device, such as another phone or laptop.

  4. If none of the above steps work, you can watch the livestream through the VLC Media Player. Follow the steps below to download and configure this programme.

  1. Download the version that suits your device from this link.

  2. Install and run the programme.

  3. Open the programme and press ‘Media’ or ‘File’ in the top left corner.

  4. From the dropdown menu, press ‘Open Network’ or ‘Open Network Stream’

  5. Copy and paste the above link into the URL box when prompted.

  6. Click ‘Open stream’.

  7. It may take a couple minutes to load, so wait until the livestream begins.
