Entries open for the 2021 Chatham Cup and Kate Sheppard Cup

Entries have opened for the 2021 Chatham Cup and Football Foundation Kate Sheppard Cup. 

Both competitions return after the 2020 editions were cancelled due to COVID-19.  

The Kate Sheppard Cup, founded in 1994, is Aotearoa New Zealand’s premier women’s football knockout competition. Over the cup’s 27-year history it has been lifted by twelve different teams with Auckland’s Lynn-Avon United the most successful, claiming it nine times. It is currently held by 2019 winners Eastern Suburbs. 

The Chatham Cup is one of the Aotearoa New Zealand’s oldest and most coveted trophies. First established in 1923, forty-four clubs have lifted the cup in its 98-year history. It is currently held by Napier City Rovers who won the title for the fifth time in 2019 with their 3-2 win over Melville United. 

All federation member clubs, secondary schools and clubs from the Armed Services of the New Zealand Defence Force are welcome to enter the Chatham Cup or Football Foundation Kate Sheppard Cup. Entries must be submitted no later than Wednesday 31st March 2021. C
