
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the women’s football strategy within the Whole of Football Plan and the Expand the Game goal within the NZF Strategic Plan 2012-2014.
The role will include creating a sound infrastructure for the growth and development of women’s football at all levels of the game. A significant requirement of the role will be leading a regional workforce of Women’s Football Development Officers as New Zealand Football moves to the next stage of making football a leading participation sport for girls and women in New Zealand.
This national position involves creating and implementing girls’ and women’s development plans; seeking out new opportunities for the women’s game; supporting the development of women coaches and referees; and creating and developing the regional infrastructure to allow the game to flourish.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience working in leadership positions in women’s sport, with a football development background.
The role will involve travel throughout New Zealand to support the implementation of national strategies at a regional level.
This position will report to the Head of Football Development and is based in Auckland: details of remuneration and other conditions will be provided at interview stage.
